Private Label Toy Packaging Artwork Approval Checklist
A private-label toy packaging checklist for checking product claims, accessories, language, barcodes, warnings, print proof and final version control.

Private-label packaging is more than a design file. It tells the buyer, retailer and consumer what the product does and what is included. If the artwork describes a function or accessory that the product does not have, the mistake can continue through printing and distribution.
A simple approval process helps buyers check commercial information and product accuracy before packaging is printed.
Compare the Artwork With the Actual Product
Review every visible claim against the approved product configuration. Generic factory packaging may show functions that belong to another version, so do not assume existing text is correct.
Use current product photos and an accessory list while reviewing the front, back, sides, top and bottom of the package.
Artwork Details to Confirm
Before approving the print file, check:
- Product name, functions and included accessories
- Brand logo, model reference and barcode
- Required language, warnings and importer information
- Color references and product images
- File version, print proof and final approval date
Keep One Final Version
Choose one person to collect buyer comments and issue the final approved file. Multiple comment chains can leave the designer or supplier working from an outdated version.
After digital approval, check a print proof or packaging sample. Confirm that the printed text, image position and product configuration still match the approved file.
Buyer Decision Tip
Good artwork approval connects design and product control. The designer needs accurate product information, while the production team needs the final print version. When both sides use the same approval record, the package is less likely to promise an unavailable feature or show an accessory that is not inside the box.
