How to Manage Product Changes After Order Confirmation

A toy order can change after confirmation because of materials, supplier availability, packaging corrections or buyer requests. The risk is not the change itself; the risk is allowing different teams to follow different versions.
A short written change-control process helps buyers see the effect on cost, schedule, product performance, packaging and inspection before approving the new version.
Describe the Change Clearly
State what was originally approved, what is proposed and why the change is needed. Add photos or drawings when words alone could be misunderstood.
Do not combine several changes into a vague message. Separate function, color, accessory, packaging and quantity changes so each can be evaluated.
Review the Full Impact
Before approving, check whether the change affects:
- Product function, play result or appearance
- Accessories, instructions or packaging claims

Issue One Updated Version
