Use this practical checklist to compare toy suppliers at Guangzhou trade fairs and turn booth contacts into a focused, verifiable product shortlist.
A trade fair can give a toy buyer hundreds of contacts in one day. The problem is that booth photos and price notes are not enough to compare suppliers after the fair. A simple checklist helps you collect information that can actually support sampling and quotation decisions.
Before You Visit
Choose two or three product priorities. For each one, prepare a target market, sales channel, quantity range, price level, packaging preference and delivery window. This keeps the conversation focused and makes supplier answers easier to compare.
Questions to Ask at the Booth
- Is this item made by your factory or sourced from another supplier?
- What is the normal MOQ for the standard version and for custom packaging?
- Which parts can be customized: color, accessories, logo, manual or packaging?
- What packing quantity, carton size and CBM should be used for the quotation?
- Which test reports or compliance documents apply to the exact SKU and destination market?
- What is the sample lead time and the current production lead time?
- Who will confirm changes after the fair, and how will the approved details be recorded?
What to Verify After the Fair
Do not treat a booth quotation as a final offer. Reconfirm the item number, product function, accessories, batteries, packaging, carton data, compliance scope and production timing. Ask for clear photos or a sample when any point is uncertain.
For OEM work, put every approved change into one requirement sheet. This reduces the risk of artwork, labels, manuals or accessories being based on different versions.
